Conduct a Public Hearing and consider approval of a Resolution granting a Variance to Chapter 157 of the Code of Ordinances that limits the height of fences in the yard abutting a street to a maximum height of four feet (4’) and prohibits the use of chain link fence material. The applicant, Rockwall Independent School District, requests to construct a six foot (6’) all-black, vinyl-coated chain link fence at Linda Lyons Elementary School in the yard abutting Trophy Drive and FM 740. The property is platted as Lot 1, Block A, Heath School Addition, addressed as 2186 Trophy Drive, and zoned Planned Development (PD) District for Single Family Residential Uses by Ordinance No. 120515A  and (A) Agricultural District.
