Updates on Upcoming TxDOT Projects

The construction start date for the FM-740 widening project from FM 1140 north to FM 1140 south is mid-July. Adverse weather delayed utility relocations, but that work is just about wrapped up. The contractor anticipates a completion date in the winter of 2017.
The FM-3097 reconstruction project from Horizon Road to Tubbs in the City of Rockwall is now scheduled to begin in mid-August.
