Bulky Waste Update

STORM DEBRIS COLLECTION UPDATE – 06/14/24

Waste Collections reported today that their crews have picked up 4,403 yards (130 truck loads) of brush and limbs during the past 9 days.

Waste Connections anticipates completing the remaining areas by the end of next week. The 50% subsidy of any fees for amounts over 3 cubic yards will continue to apply.

Crews are noticing that residents are bringing out additional brush in some of the areas already serviced. Their plan is to identify those debris piles and double back after completing the rest of the unserviced areas. The 50% subsidy of any fees for amounts over 3 cubic yards will continue to apply for a second sweep.

The was a tremendous impact throughout the Metroplex, and other muncipalties are estimating multiple months to complete the cleanup. Waste Connections asks for your patience. If you think your home has been missed by the end of next week, please call the City at 972-771-6228 to place your address on a follow up list for Waste Connections.
