HEATH DPS RECOGNIZED FOR SAVING LIFE OF TODDLER
Heath Department of Public Safety (DPS) Chief Brandon Seery presented the Life Saving Award to Heath DPS Shift B for their heroic actions on June 25.
The officers were dispatched to the Cedar Glen Estates neighborhood in reference to a drowning. Dispatch advised that a 2-year-old child had fallen into a swimming pool and was not breathing. CPR was in progress by the residents, which provided the foundation for a strong Chain of Survival.
