PUBLIC NOTICE: Zoning Ordinance Amendment Conditional Uses

Notice is hereby given that the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the City Council will consider and act on the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.  Both meetings will be held at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.

The following items will be considered:

Conduct a Public Hearing and Act on an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Heath, Texas, Amending Title XV, “Land Usage”, Chapter 159 “Zoning Regulations”, Section 159.21(C), “Conditional Uses” to include allowing portable classrooms for private schools of the City of Heath Code of Ordinances; Providing a Severability Clause, Repealer Clause, and Savings Clause; Providing an Effective Date; Providing for Publication; and Finding and Determining the meeting at which the Ordinance is adopted was open to the public as required by law.
