PUBLIC NOTICE: ORDINANCE AMENDMENT HOME BASED BUSINESS REGULATIONS

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Heath, Texas, will hold a Public Hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, Texas. Further notice is given that an additional Public Hearing is scheduled where the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the City Council of the City of Heath, Texas, at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, Texas.

At such time, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will Conduct a Public Hearing and act on the following case:

Case No. ZTA-2024-01: Conduct a Public Hearing and act on an amendment to the City of Heath, Texas, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 159 “Zoning” to amend Section 159.42 “Definitions,” Section 159.43 “Conditional Use Permits; Permit Requirements,” and add a new Section 159.53 “Home-Based Business Regulations.”

Please Note: The reviewing body may table these public hearings from time to time, which may affect the final action date.
