PUBLIC NOTICE: CUP/ZONING CHANGE AMERICAN NATIONAL BANK FM 550/FM 549
Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Heath, Texas, will hold a public hearing for two (2) applications submitted by American National Bank for the below-described Zoning Change and a Conditional Use Permit at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas. Further notice is given that an additional public hearing is scheduled where these applications and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the City Council of the City of Heath, Texas, at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.
At such time, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will Conduct a Public Hearing and act on the following two cases:
Case No. ZA-2023-04R: Conduct a Public Hearing for an application to change the zoning on 2.463 acres of land from Towne Center Overlay District with a base zoning classification of Local Retail (LR) District to a Planned Development (PD) for Towne Center Overlay District, with specific uses being excluded, for “bank office uses only.” The subject property is described as Tract 1, Antonio Rodriguez Survey, Abstract No. 231, and is zoned (LR) Local Retail District within the Towne Center Overlay District. The property is located at the intersection of FM 550 and FM 549. (Rockwall CAD ID No. 13000). and,
Case No. CUP-2023-03R: Conduct a Public Hearing for an application for a Conditional Use Permit, as required by Section 159.27 (c)(1) of the Local Retail (LR) District as established in the Code of Ordinances, City of Heath, for a five (5) lane drive-through bank teller facility for an 8,386.75 square foot bank and office building on 2.463 acres of land described as Tract 1, Antonio Rodriguez Survey, Abstract No. 231. The site is zoned (LR) Local Retail District within the Towne Center Overlay District. The property is located at the intersection of FM 550 and FM 549. (Rockwall CAD ID No. 13000).
Interested citizens are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. These public hearings may be tabled and rescheduled from one meeting to another.
