Notice of Public Hearings before the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council: Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Heath, Texas will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Further notice is given that, a second public hearing is scheduled where the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the City Council at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Both meeting will be held at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas. The Commission and City Council will consider the following case: Hold a Public Hearing and take action on a request from property owners Donna and James Lukenbill for the approval of a Zoning Change for a 5.3-acre portion of a 9.20-acre tract of land out of the Edward Teal Survey, Abstract No. 207, from Single Family–34 (SF-43) District to Agricultural (A) District, said 5.3 acres being platted as Lot 1, Heathridge Estates, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 321, P.R.R.C.T. The Property is addressed as 714 Smirl Drive (Case No. ZA-2018-05). The City may continue a public hearing should an applicant so request.
