NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Use of Sales Tax Proceeds

In accordance with the Texas Local Gov’t Code § 505.159, a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Directors of the Heath Municipal Benefits Corporation (Type B) during a meeting to be held on June 16, 2015 at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers at 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, Texas to consider the use of sales tax proceeds to develop a comprehensive plan update related to community branding, promoting new and expanded business development, and transportation and infrastructure planning  which may include costs for consulting.  It is estimated the cost of such project will not exceed $125,000.

This notice shall also constitute notice of a Type B project as required by Texas Local Gov’t Code § 505.160.  Following the public hearing and the receipt of public input, it is anticipated that the Board may take action on the project at the same meeting.
