NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – MCCRUMMEN ESTATES ZONING/SMIRL ACCESSORY BUILDING

Notice of Public Hearings before the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council:

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct two public hearings during a meeting that starts at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr. Further notice is given that the City Council will conduct public hearings at Heath City Hall during a meeting that starts at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The Commission and the Council will consider the Applications of:

  1. The Skorburg Company, on behalf of McCrummen Estates, Ltd. for a zoning change to amend the Planned Development (“PD”) Concept Plan, as established by Ordinance 061116A for McCrummen Ranch on Tract 23.01 (52.283 acres), J. Cantor Survey A-0053, City of Heath, Rockwall County, Texas, to increase the number of lots from 51 to 66 and to adjust the lot layout and adjust access points.  The subject property is situated on the southeast side of Hubbard Drive between Dunford Drive and Lee Drive; and
  2. The application of Pat Fortier, on behalf of Brandon Johnson  for a conditional use permit to construct an additional accessory building, 1034 sq. ft. in area and built of like materials and design as the residence on Tract 22, JO Heath Survey A-0116, City of Heath, Rockwall County, Texas (501 Smirl Drive).

Interested citizens are invited to attend and participate in these public hearings. Special notice will be given to property owners within 200’ of the subject properties.
