NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FISCAL YEAR 2024 PROPOSED ANNUAL BUDGET – REVISED
The City of Heath will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, September 25, 2023 concerning its 2024 Fiscal Budget for the period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. The Public Hearing will be held at a meeting of the City Council at 6:00 p.m. at 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $622,978 which is a 8.03% increase and of that amount $473,038 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
A copy of the proposed 2024 Fiscal Budget is available for public inspection at City Hall located at 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the proposed Budget is also available here.
