NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Exception to Fence – 1 & 2 Peninsula Court
Notice of Public Hearings before the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council: Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing starting at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr. Further notice is given that the City Council will hold a second public hearing starting at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Heath City Hall. The Commission and the City Council will consider the following case: Conduct a Public Hearing and take action on a request from Jack Cecil, applicant, for the approval of an exception, as defined in Section 159.30 (D) of the Lake Edge Zoning District, City of Heath, Texas, Code of Ordinances (the Code), to allow the extension of an existing fence into the City of Dallas Take Line Area; and approval of a variance to Section 157.02 (C) of the Code, Fences, to allow the extension of an existing fence into the front, side or rear yards abutting a street that exceeds the maximum permitted fence height of four (4) feet, for Lots 4 and 5, The Peninsula, City of Heath, Rockwall County, Texas (1 & 2 Peninsula Court). (Case FV-2018-01). The City may continue a public hearing should an applicant so request. Citizens are invited to attend and participate in the public hearings.
