NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Amending Zoning Ordinance – Towne Center Overlay District
Notice of Public Hearing: Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Heath, Texas will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the Heath City Council at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.
The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will consider the following ordinance amendment: Conduct a Public Hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 159, “Zoning,” of the Code of Ordinances, City of Heath, Texas, the same being known as the Zoning Ordinance, specifically Section 159.29, “Towne Center Overlay District,” for the purpose of implementing technical corrections, and to amend certain land use provisions and requirements to reflect the goals and objectives established in the City of Heath 2018 Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 180410A on April 10, 2018. Citizens are invited to attend and participate in these public hearings, and the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council may continue a public hearing from one meeting to another.
