HEATH COMMUNITY CENTER
The Heath Community Center Board generously donated the land for Heath City Hall in 1982, and is committed to ensuring that a Community Room is available to Heath residents.
General Rules
Reservation Process:
The Heath Community Room is a place for celebrations, meetings, & gatherings. The spacious center is available for rental to resident of Heath for events held after regular business hours.
- A refundable security deposit of $500.00 is required to cover potential damages.
- The rate is $50.00 per hour – Homeowners Associations may rent the room 4 times per year for half the rate ($25.00 per hour)
- The lost key fee is $60.00 – For after hours key return, you may drop the key into the silver drop box near the court room doors on the west side of the building.
Usage Guidelines:
- The room is available for use from 07:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
- The maximum occupancy is 80 people.
- The resident making the reservation must be present throughout the event.
Prohibited Activities:
- No smoking or vaping inside the community room.
- No alcohol consumption in the building or in the parking lot.
- No loud music, dancing, or disruptive behavior.
Cleanliness and Maintenance Before and After Use:
- The room must be left in the same condition as it was found.
- All trash must be disposed of in the green dumpster located on the South side of the parking lot. Recyclable materials (Paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, & glass jars) can be placed in the blue recycling containers located behind the community room.
- Floors should be swept/vacuumed, and surfaces wiped down.
- Only non-damaging adhesives (e.g., painter’s tape) are allowed for decorations.
- All decorations must be removed after the event.
- Return the thermostat to:
- (Summer) AC setting is 80* (Press HOLD)
- (Winter) Heat setting is 65* (Press HOLD)
Make sure doors are closed & locked behind you, return key to drop box.
Furniture and Equipment:
- Any furniture or equipment used must be returned to its original position.
- There are ten (10) tables & sixty (60) chairs available for use.
- Report any damage or issues to management immediately.
Safety and Security
Supervision:
- Children must be always supervised.
- Ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked after use.
- Emergency Procedures:
- Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and fire extinguishers.
- In case of an emergency, contact us after normal hours emergency line at 972-771-7724.
Compliance:
All events held in the community room must adhere to the community’s guidelines for respectful and non-disruptive behavior. Events that are likely to cause disturbances or conflicts among residents are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, events with loud music, excessive noise, or activities that may be deemed offensive or discriminatory. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and future rental privileges.
