Heath Police Arrests Dip 32 Percent in 2013

Arrests made by Heath police fell nearly a third in 2013 from a year earlier, according to a Heath Department of Public Safety report.

• Total arrests dropped from 168 to 114. Juvenile arrests, which made up a majority made by Heath police, fell 44 percent from a year earlier.
• Total incident reports to Heath police, fire and emergency medical services rose 14 percent from 4,457 in 2012 to 5,078 last year.
