Heath Honors Outgoing Board and Commission Members
The City of Heath honored outgoing board and commission members for their service during the October 28 City Council meeting.
Those recognized were Alma Williams Howard, who served on the Heath Economic Development Board and Heath Municipal Benefits Board for 16 years and concluded her distinguished tenure as President of both organizations. She was also appointed to the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee, where she was elected as Chairman and guided the work that culminated in the 2008 Update to the City of Heath Comprehensive Plan.
Also recognized for his many years of service was Dennis Conder, who served on the Heath Board of Adjustment from July 1998 to May 200, when he was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission on which he served as Chairman from 2004 until September 2013.
Dan Bobst was honored for serving on the Heath Economic Development Corporation and Heath Municipal Benefits Corporation Boards from July 2006 to July 2014.
Cyndi Pitman was also recognized for her service on the Heath Economic Development Corporation and Heath Municipal Benefits Corporation Boards from June 2006 to July 2014.
“The leadership and volunteerism of these dedicated citizens has contributed to improvements in the quality of life and left an everlasting imprint in our community,” said Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty as he recognized each individual.
