The City of Heath Council meet the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Meetings occur in the Council Chambers at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive and typically begin at 6:30pm. Residents are encouraged to attend.

The Heath EDC/MBC are nonprofit organizations that help new and existing businesses, and assists with workforce development. The organizations are funded by sales taxes approved by City voters.

The Special Events Board is responsible for planning, funding, logistics, and execution of all City events. This includes annual citywide celebrations, ground breaking, grand openings and other one-of-a-kind events.

The Heath Golf & Yacht Club MMD was created by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TECQ). They are self-governed by a Board of Directors made up of property owners and those with commercial interests within the district.
