FM 740 Construction Update

Weather permitting, the contractor for the TxDOT FM-740 project has informed City staff that paving will begin Monday morning, January 9. The paving will begin at the FM-740/FM-1140 intersection (City Hall) and continue to the FM-740/FM-550 intersection (Shell gas station). It is anticipated that it will take approximately seven days to complete this section, and is weather dependent. The TxDOT contractor will then begin paving the section of FM-740 from the FM-740/FM-550 intersection towards the CVS.
