The City of Heath is pleased to present a final draft of the 2018 Parks, Recreation and Trails Master Plan approved by the Park Board. Once the plan is adopted by City Council, it will serve as an action-oriented guide for planning and funding additions and enhancements to the park and trail system citywide. This is a very important investment in the quality of life enjoyed by current and future citizens that will also contribute to the City’s status as a premier D/FW area community.

Please take time to review the plan and share your input during a public hearing to be held at the April 10 City Council meeting.

You can download both the plan and the PowerPoint presentation given to City Council during its March 27 meeting below, in pdf format.

Thank you to the Park Board for steering this project. The Park Board is led by Chairman Mark King and includes Vice Chairman Eric Anderson, Patrick Cummins, Evan Jarcy, Katie Dyer, Jason Severn and Council Liaison Rich Krause.
