CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: COVE RIDGE WATERLINE UPGRADE PROJECT

PROJECT SCOPE:

The City of Heath has hired a contractor to upgrade waterlines in the Cove Ridge Subdivision. The waterline upgrade project is the replacement of the existing old water lines with new 8-inch and 6-inch water lines and installing additional fire hydrants.

  • The waterline installation will be constructed to minimize impact to the traffic flow. Most of the water line will be installed by bore, which reduces the impact to the adjacent properties.
  • The project is scheduled to begin by February 21. The completion of the project is scheduled for early August 2022 (weather dependent). The contractor anticipates the project being completed prior to August.
  • Access to homes will be maintained during construction. Driveways within the work area may not be accessible when the work in front of the home is being performed. The contractor will notify the homeowner in advance.
