CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: ANTIGUA BAY WATERLINE UPGRADES- PHASE 1 PROJECT

Note: This entry was last modified on November 30, 2021: 6:36 pm and may be out of date.

PROJECT SCOPE:

The City waterline upgrade project is the replacement of the existing small water lines with new 6-inch water lines and fire hydrants within the Antigua Bay Subdivision. This project is the first of two phases. The exhibit below is Phase 1. Phase 2 is scheduled for later in 2022.

  • The waterline installation will be constructed to minimize impact to the traffic flow. Most of the water line will be installed by bore, which reduces the impact to the adjacent properties.
  • Phase 1 is scheduled to begin by December 6, starting with the connections to the existing water line at Hubbard. No work will start on the side streets until after Christmas. The completion of Phase 1 is June 3, 2022 (weather dependent).
  • Access to homes will be maintained during construction. Driveways within the work area may not be accessible when the work in front of the home is being performed. The contractor will notify the homeowner in advance.
  • The contractor is Hayes Construction, phone number: 903-357-8849.
