Construction and Traffic Advisory – Monday, July 7

TxDOT is reconstructing drainage culverts on FM 740, south of the intersection of Laurence Drive & FM 740. Please be prepared for traffic to be reduced to one lane between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on July 7.

Also on July 7, construction will begin on the Pedestrian crossing over Buffalo Creek. The crossing will connect the trail in the Stoneleigh Phase 4 subdivision with the trail in the Stoneleigh Phase 5 subdivision.

The City is funding the construction of the creek crossing as a CIP project, and the developer of Stoneleigh is funding the construction of the trail.

The creek crossing portion of the project should take 30 days to complete. Work is to be performed 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless weather delays cause the need for Saturday work. Construction access will be from the Stoneleigh Phase 5 Subdivision.
