CITY SPONSORS FREE E-WASTE COLLECTION ON MAY 13

The City will co-sponsor with the Environmental Co-op a free E-waste Collection and Document Shredding Event on Saturday, May 13, 9 a.m. to noon at Cain Middle School, 6620 FM 3097.
Items accepted for recycling include: televisions, computer monitors, laptops, printers, hard drives, fax machines, gaming consoles, VCR’s, cell phones, radios, cables and cords, networking equipment, routers, servers, lab equipment, test equipment, flat panel displays, CPUs, keyboards, mice, tape and zip drivers, microwave ovens, DVD players, telephones, digital cameras, stereo components, power supplies, modems, switches, printed circuit boards, video conference equipment, ink and toner cartridges, batteries, aluminum cans, and eye glasses for Lion’s club.

Items not included on this list will not be accepted. Cash donations to the Co-op are accepted, and Co-op memberships are available. Contact the Co-op at 972-524-0007.
