City of Heath Recognizes Local Businesses
The first week of November was fun and busy as City of Heath leaders joined local businesses for Grand Openings and Holiday celebrations. Here’s a photo recap of the activities. Watch for more to come as Heath grows in the right way. Mayor Lorne Liechty and Mayor Pro Tem Brian Berry help Roli Q’s Unique Boutique owner, Lisa Quinby, cut the ribbon during Grand Opening festivities on Thursday, November 5. Also on hand to celebrate were members of the Heath Economic Development Board, the Special Events Board…and some happy shoppers! Profits from the Grand Opening went to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of a special Heath mom and her family.

Mayor Lorne Liechty recognized Lakeside AMBCUS for their work to improve the quality of life for Rockwall County disabled Veterans and children during Heath Salon and Spa’s Holiday Open House on November 5. The salon raised funds to donate two Amtrykes, which were presented during the event. Now this giving local business owned by Juana French is working to raise funds for two more Amtrykes for AMBCUS to give to additional recipients.
