The Capital Improvement Plan continues to progress, providing upgrades and improvements to our City infrastructure.

COMPLETED PROJECTS

  • Rabbit Ridge and Horizon Rd. Extension (Adjacent to Cobblestone Subdivision)

PROJECTS NOW UNDERWAY

  • Rabbit Ridge Phase 2 (Ridge Lakes subdivision to FM-550 – Includes 12″ water Line) – Obtaining right-of-way; plans 85% complete.
  • Myers/Crisp Roadway Improvements – The project is scheduled to begin in July. Construction time is estimated to be 7 to 9 months.
  • Hubbard Drive Roadway Improvements (reconstruction of sections of Hubbard Drive, including drainage improvements, FM-740 to south Scenic Drive) – Engineering has started. Additional right-of-way will be needed for the project.
  • 3 Million Gallon Ground Storage Tank and Pump Station Expansion – Construction has begun and will be completed February 2019.
  • McDonald Road Phase 2 Roadway Project (Phase 1 to City Limits: Falcon Point Subdivision): Right-of-way is obtained. New right-of-way will reduce the amount of one-lane roadway during construction. Private utilities will have to be relocated before the project will be bid. Once started, construction time is estimated to be 6 to 7 months.
