City Council Adopts 2018 Comprehensive Plan

The City of Heath is pleased to announce that City Council adopted the 2018 Comprehensive Plan at its meeting last night.

This important planning tool, first created in 1995 and updated in 2008, represents the vision of what citizens want the City to become, and sets forth policies that allow the City to realize the vision. Changes to the Comprehensive Plan will be incorporated into the City’s Zoning Ordinance.

Updating the plan has been an intense and extensive process involving many hard-working volunteers who served on the Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, citizens who took time to give input, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the members of City Council.

The City of Heath also thanks Freese & Nichols for guiding this project.
