The contractor for the TXDOT FM-740 South Overlay Project, from the Smirl Drive/Laurence Drive intersection, south, towards Travis Ranch, is scheduled to begin roadway striping on Tuesday, October 13. The striping will take several days. Drivers should anticipate traffic delays during the installation of the roadway striping.
The construction start date for the FM-740 widening project from FM 1140 north to FM 1140 south is mid-July. Adverse weather delayed utility relocations, but that work is just about wrapped up.
