Applications Sought for the Board of Adjustment

The City is continuing the process of filling vacancies on boards and commissions and welcomes applications for the Board of Adjustment. You can download an application here.

Responsibilities of the Board of Adjustment:

• Provide relief for property owners who experience an unnecessary hardship or practical difficulty in the development of their property due to the literal enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance
• Grant special exceptions when provided by the Zoning Ordinance
• Hear appeals to decisions of administrative officials
• Decide other matters delegated to them by the governing body
