A Message from Heath DPS Chief Terry Garrett

Over the next few days and weeks you may receive phone calls and/ or be approached to donate to charities that will help support the families of fallen and injured officers. There are some good charities that may be making these calls, but there are many others that will use tragedy for personal gain.

The main organization assisting with the Dallas Officers is Assist the Officer Foundation (ATO).

This is part of the Dallas Police Association and is fully vetted. It is also a charity that Heath DPS supports through Carry the Load each year. It is suggested that if you want to give to and support the fallen and injured Dallas PD officers and their families, go directly to the website to donate.
