PUBLIC NOTICE: ZONING CHANGE 1603 SMIRL DRIVE
Notice is hereby given that the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the City Council will consider and act on the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Both meetings will be held at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.
The following items will be considered:
Case No. ZA-2025-03: Hold a public hearing and consider a request from Stephen Doty to change the zoning classification from (SF-22) Single-Family Residential District & (LR) Local Retail District to (SF-43) Single-Family Residential District land uses for the property addressed as 1603 Smirl Drive, further described as Lot 2, Daniels Addition, City of Heath, Rockwall County, Texas. The zoning change is to facilitate the construction of a single-family home to be located on the 3.766-acre parcel of land. (Rockwall CAD ID 16099)
