PUBLIC NOTICE: COMPREHENSIVE PLAN CHANGE 1603 SMIRL DRIVE

Notice is hereby given that the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the City Council will consider and act on the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Both meetings will be held at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.

The following items will be considered:

Case No. ZA-2025-02: Hold a public hearing and consider a request from Stephen Doty for a change to the 2018 Comprehensive Plan in accordance with Sec. 211.004 of the Texas Local Government Code, by amending the Future Land Use Map from a Retail & Medium Density Residential designation to Rural Estates designation for the property described as Lot 2, Daniels Addition, being a 3.766-acre parcel of land, addressed as 1603 Smirl Drive, City of Heath, Rockwall County, Texas.
