A Message From Mayor Kelson Elam
In 2023, the City Council approved a $12-million-dollar renovation of Town Center Park with amenities such as pickle ball courts and a showcase for drought-tolerant vegetation (illustrated above). We also broke ground on the new plaza park at the corner of the Tom Thumb/Towne Center to provide more open space and a beautiful entry feature for our downtown area. We are looking forward to a rapid completion of both projects.
