IMPORTANT BUILDING CODE CHANGES

The City of Heath City Council approved an update to the building codes which will go into effect on 08/24/2021. The City will move from the 2015 ICC Codes and 2014 National Electric Code to the 2018 ICC Building Code, Energy Conservation Code, Fire Code, Fuel Gas Code, Residential Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, Property Maintenance Code, Swimming Pool and Spa Code, existing Building Code and the 2017 National Electrical Code and all applicable NCTCOG amendments.
