PUBLIC HEARING: City of Heath 2020 Annual Budget

The City of Heath will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 concerning its 2020 Fiscal Budget for the period of October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.  The Public Hearing will be held at a meeting of the City Council at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas.

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $385,700, which is a 5.9% increase and of that amount $272,694 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

A copy of the proposed 2020 Fiscal Budget has been filed with the City Secretary’s Office, Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  A copy of the proposed Budget may also be viewed on the Finance page, under related documents.
