TAX RATE NOTIFICATION -TAX YEAR 2022
The City of Heath adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 1.5 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $3.121. The tax rate of $0.291175 per $100 of assessed valuation of taxable property is a decrease of 14.1854% from last year’s tax rate of $0.339307 per $100 of assessed valuation. The property tax revenue raised from existing property is $50,400 less than last year’s revenue.
Independence Day Parade & City Hall Closure
We are grateful to be able to celebrate freedom because of the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces and Veterans. City Hall will be closed on July 4, but the City’s parade begins at 9 a.m. Please plan for brief traffic delays in the area between 8:45-10 a.m. Find a route map and more here.
