TAX RATE NOTIFICATION -TAX YEAR 2022
The City of Heath adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 1.5 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $3.121. The tax rate of $0.291175 per $100 of assessed valuation of taxable property is a decrease of 14.1854% from last year’s tax rate of $0.339307 per $100 of assessed valuation. The property tax revenue raised from existing property is $50,400 less than last year’s revenue.
Water Alert
Heath: water usage for irrigation went soared this afternoon, and we have hit the 6 million-a-day max. Please stop watering so that we that we may avoid if possible going to Stage 2 — watering once per week. Thank you for your help as the City continues to work on a plan for the future.
Bulky Brush Storm Update | 07/10/24
Waste Collections reports that it is close to completing the storm debris pickup throughout the City. If your property has been missed, please contact the City at 972-771-6228. The 50% subsidy of any fees for amounts over 3 cubic yards will continue to apply until the City is confident that Waste Connections has completed the storm-related work.
